Thank you so so much to Leigh Shen for my advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Welp, I had a sneaking suspicion that Hunter would take the coveted spot as my favorite Shen male creation. Your girl was right!

Hunter Fitzpatrick is THE playboy. The man-whore King. Of all of his “tothole” friends, he was always the one who knew he’d never catch feelings… ever. The last man standing. When a sex tape surfaces, his father threatens to cut off his inheritance if he doesn’t become sober and celibate. So, for six long months in a city where he has no friends, he is to be babysat by the no nonsense Sailor Brennan.

Sailor is an archer extraordinaire. She has tunnel vision when it comes to her path to the Olympics. But she has some serious competition in blonde bombshell, Lana… this girl has it all (everything that Sailor doesn’t have): the looks, the body, the fame. She is in the spotlight… and only one of them can make it to the coveted spot.

When daddy Fitzpatrick offers to fund Sailor’s campaign to get publicity to further her archery career in exchange for babysitting his son, she realizes that the gains outweigh the risk of Hunter getting under her skin. She has never been all about boys or having a real life that doesn’t revolve around her bow and arrows, so this should be a piece of cake.

What neither of them expects is for them to become so much to one another. The connection grows and blossoms, but the inevitable gets in the way. I adored this so much! Hunter was just absolute perfection. He is underestimated and let down time and time again by people who are supposed to be there for him. And you watch through these pages as he proves everyone wrong. Sailor is a force to be reckoned with. She doesn’t take any of Hunter’s bullshit. But he gets under her skin just the same. They begin to make each other better.

This book takes you down this long road with twists and turns that I didn’t expect. There are secrets revealed and truths learned. There is some long awaited redemption, some espionage, and lots and lots of hilarious dirty banter! I devoured every word and am anxiously awaiting the next book in this Boston Belle’s series.

Synopsis:

Hunter

I didn’t mean to star in a sex tape, okay?
It was just one of those unexplainable things. Like Stonehenge, Police Academy 2, and morning glory clouds.
It just happened.
Now my ball-busting father is sentencing me to six months of celibacy, sobriety, and morbid boredom under the roof of Boston’s nerdiest girl alive, Sailor Brennan.
The virginal archer is supposed to babysit my ass while I learn to take my place in Royal Pipelines, my family’s oil company.
Little does she know, that’s not the only pipe I’ll be laying…

Sailor
I didn’t want this gig, okay?
But the deal was too sweet to walk away from.
I needed the public endorsement; Hunter needed a nanny.
Besides, what’s six months in the grand scheme of things?
It’s not like I’m in danger of falling in love with the appallingly gorgeous, charismatic gazillionaire who happens to be one of Boston’s most eligible bachelors.
No. I will remain immune to Hunter Fitzpatrick’s charm.
Even at the cost of losing everything I have.
Even at the cost of burning down his kingdom.
