This was a high school romance, in the typical high school romance fashion where every character in the book is way more adult than any normal high school I have ever seen… but we love it anyway!
Fallon moves to Cherry Creek in her senior year and you know she is running from some sh*t! She immediately winds up friends with the cool girl, and not the cool girl in the way of head cheerleader type (we know that b is the worst!!), but the down to earth, knows everyone kind of girl, Jade… and not only does Jade notice her, but so does bad boy Jesse, the guy that NEVER has a girlfriend because you can’t tie this boy down. He doesn’t do relationships… it is all very formulaic, but in the BEST way possible!!!
Jesse has a past, Fallon has a deeper past, but sparks fly and they end up in it to win it! Up until Fallon’s past comes back to haunt her. Let me tell you, this poor girl is running from her past for a reason! Her demons need to stay hidden, but that doesn’t happen.
I loved this so much! It was juicy. It was fun. It was entirely entertaining! I CANNOT wait to see what happens next since this cliffhanger ending had me GASPING!!!!!
